they agreed to terms earlier.that keep me thinking why Floyd delayed the fight announcement. What exactly did he got out of it?
It was announced I believe Feb 20, a very non significant day. If he announced it on his birthday a mere two days later at least Floyd fans will have something to argue about but why Feb 20?
Malinowski broke the news a day earlier, announcing the fight on that day does not necessarily mean he signed it on that same day too.
remember when pac/arum kept saying "WAITING FOR FLOYD"
floyd fans kept saying arum was full of it. well.....
plus when floyd agreed he delayed announcing.Comment

Yeah. Pac said several times during interviews that everything was settled but part of the agreement is that Team Mayweather is the only party that has the power when it comes to announcement of the fight.Comment

What's amazing is how stupors ****s like yourself give a damn abut this and post stuff like this on here... Who gives a ****.... Must be nice to have mayweather mail you a check for all you d I ck riding..Comment

floyd doesnt want the mgm full of real boxing fans, he knows the crowd will turn on him and starting chanting for manny manny once the first punch lands and he pulls out the bicycle-
he knows thats how it would be if he werent controlling the tickets!!Comment

warming up your excuse?Comment

I need some clarification quick or I'm cancelling my trip to Vegas. There's no reason to bother going if watching the actual fight will be a huge hassle. This has been the worst promotion imaginable, and there's way too many details left unknown for the fight to be little over a month away.Comment

I had my flight booked in January and my friend reserved rooms in multiple hotels...now with this announcement, my friend is seriously reconsidering going to Vegas...smh
I'm a fan of Floyd, but to let this happen is just some f*** s*** to me. I know he has two fights with Showtime/CBS/MGM left but cot dayum...If I knew that the fight would be handled like this, I would be skeptical about going.
Not a good look for boxing at all...Comment

Some of you are just flat uninformed "haters". "Floyd doesn't want real boxing fans" WHAT?? LOL You can't make this nonsense up. I didn't realize Floyd was also the OWNER of the MGM PROPERTIES too.
Anyways, as said by someone here which was completely IGNORED (not surprising) the MGM isn't JUST the MGM if you've ever been to Vegas.
MGM PROPERTIES consist of - Bellagio Vdar
Delano
Monte Carlo
New York New York
Luxor
Excalibur
and Mandaly Bay where I saw Guerrero vs. Mayweather at.
All of them won't be showing it I'm sure but there's more than enough properties on the strip than just the MGM Grand that MGMProperties owns and has shown fights.
Still laughing at the idiotic "floyd doesn't want real fans" comment.Comment

its basic economics: supply and demand
the MGM can raise their prices now that they have a monopoly on showing the fight and people WILL pay for it...this will also attract high rollers to the casinos while reducing the chance of overcrowding the city thus maximizing profitsComment
