Still not sure where I will be watching it. It may end up being at my place with some friends and family ....... I have a nice 65" TV.

Even MGM was thinking about it (outdoor stadium ) back then not just Arum

"One of the different circumstances now is that the MGM Resorts, the owner of the MGM Grand (Mayweather's and Golden Boy's preferred venue) commissioned a study to examine the feasibility of an outdoor stadium with a greater capacity.

It released the study, titled "Temporary Stadium Study," on Feb. 7, a week after Mayweather announced during a hearing in front of the Nevada Athletic Commission that he would fight Cotto on May 5.

The study chose a 10-acre lot on the southern end of Las Vegas Blvd. across from the Luxor Hotel & Casino that would have seated 40,000 and which also would have been used for UFC fights, concerts and shows.

MGM Resorts chairman and CEO Jim Murren and chief marketing officer Bill Hornbuckle were traveling and could not be reached for comment. However, Gordon Absher, the vice president of public affairs at MGM Resorts, said the company believes Las Vegas needs such a facility to host major events.

"The potential of a Pacquiao***8211;Mayweather match-up highlights the need for a large capacity, 40,000-plus-seat stadium in our community," Absher said. "But a once-in-a-lifetime boxing match is by no means the only such event that could be hosted there. MGM Resorts supports the concept of a multi-purpose, 50,000-seat stadium currently being discussed at UNLV"

Man the MGM Grand and all of its venues will be jam packed. Last year I watched Mayweather vs Maidana in CC ballroom at the MGM and aside from a stampede afterwards near the food area, we had a ball.

I actually wanted to rent the "2810 estate" and have a massive fight arty there. Didn't have $17500 for the weeks rent tho

has anyone heard yet of Floyd fans bashing the:

          Venue
          Closed circuit availability
          Ticket price
          Ticket availability
The way promotion is being done
          The PPV price

or the sudden eerily silence coming from the most talkative boxer in the world?

they are not bashing MGM as the venue chosen by Floyd for the biggest fight in boxing history resulting in a limited and very exorbitant price of the ticket because then they will be admitting that arum was right about building that temporary outdoor stadium.

Well, I guess I'm not goin to Vegas then. My friends had rooms booked on that day way before they announced the fight. Was planning on watching it at a club or bar, and spending a lot of money on the strip that weekend. That just settles it. They should be pissed.

that keep me thinking why Floyd delayed the fight announcement. What exactly did he got out of it?

It was announced I believe Feb 20, a very non significant day. If he announced it on his birthday a mere two days later at least Floyd fans will have something to argue about but why Feb 20?

Malinowski broke the news a day earlier, announcing the fight on that day does not necessarily mean he signed it on that same day too.
