Is anyone familiar with Vegas? I have hotel and flight booked to Vegas thinking I'm gonna watch the fight only to find out about this ****ing bull**** that MGM has pulled. I need to figure out places to watch the fight now since I'll be in Vegas. Does anyone have any suggestions? A private message would be appreciated

        Greed

And yet these so called journalist keeps writing these articles about how boxing is about the fans, no its about $$$ and greed.

More articles ignoring the Truth will be written and promoting this false image about boxing being about the fans......

casual and hardcore fans alike will continue to be bilked for every dollar they have, but its about the fans right? its easy to see how untrue that statement is, no matter your level of intelligence, anyone can see and understand greed vs giving back & being fair, even subsidizing for the consumers.

Yet its easy to see greed but people find it harder to turn away from something that has proven to not be in there best interest...........I wont go any further cause it should be obvious who is partially responsible ...................yep, you, the Fans.

And I can already hear all the blah blah, turning it around "No, your ******!! blah blah blah you blankety blank blank!!"......... "Honesty is such a lonely word. Everyone is so untrue..." - Billy Joel, in his hit song Honesty.

Its changes not the Truth though, no matter what anyone says, people are fools they they are compromisers who settle for entertainments sake while complaining how there getting ripped off....only actions get anything accomplished.

The Fans will continue to get ripped off, the Media will continue to lie about EVERYTHING (lol), and fans will continue to be "Tards" and basically just be childish, disruptive, chaotic, and ignorant on purpose.........so you know what my feeling is about all this..?

F _ck'em!, F the media, and the ****** ****** big mouth fans...u all deserve one another., a marriage from Hell.

I'll be catching this fight on You-tube or whenever its avail for free, just like all the other "fun" but non essential but pricey hobbies these F'n greedy business types would love me to pay for, no thanks dummies. :ANYWORD:

Pacquiao not going to get any of this.

I seem to recall Mayweather-Maidana II was also only shown closed circuit at MGM properties. I didn't look into it too much though because I figured I'd be able to secure tickets to that fight rather easily and only researched it as a backup plan. Like others have said, this is nothing but greed.

Regarding the stadium, the MGM also doesn't want the entire crowd Pac-May draws in to have to disperse from off-site. They want people in their building(s). Now, sitting outside in the Vegas heat....in May. I know the preferred fight attending garb of Pacquiao fans seems to be sneakers, shorts and a logo tee at his fights, but the people paying for those ultra premium seats have to be dressed to the nines unless they want to stick out like a sore thumb. The VIPs, the high-rollers aren't going to want to sit in the Vegas heat for 4-5 hours not when they'd pay the ultra premium prices on seating in the Grand Garden Arena regardless. Putting it somewhere with more available seating reduces the prestige of attending such an event, and that prestige is what many are paying for (shallow as it may seem.)

Another one who gets a hard on over another mans money.

How about you and posters like yourself stop watching boxing and monitor stock trades and sales all day so that you can ****** over business men. Leave boxing to the fans who actually care about the fight itself.

It's a joke that a fight of this magnitude is going to be held in an arena that can only hold 15,000 people. It's a joke that the real fans of the sport won't even get a chance to watch this fight live. They should have put this in Cowboys Stadium.

Great stadium, shiet area with nothing to do before or after. That's the main problem with that location.

I understand having it in NV for tax purposes, but even Metlife Stadium in NJ would have been a much better venue. It holds 82,500 and is within close proximity to NYC for those who want to fly in for the wknd and party.

Here's what you get at a stadium (Whether built in Vegas or elsewhere).......

Like I stated earlier: Aside from being part of the event, you will be looking at a big screen throughout ..... IMO, I'd rather be among friends watching the fight in HD, with some brews and grub on standby.
