How can an undersized, overachiever cherry pick? Is Cotto a good or bad fighter you can't have it both ways.

if cotto was fighting 2-3 times a year. cherry picks/tuneups/stay busy fights are fine. part of the game.

if he mights ggg or canelo next this fight can be excused. til then jotto deserves the criticism he gets.

My point is if Cotto is such a ****ty like you claim, a guy like Heiland wouldn't be a cherry pick... You don't get to have it both ways is my point. You call Cotto a bum or crap in one post then in the next say he is cherry picking when fighting someone not in your approved list of fighters you find acceptable. You say Cotto gets killed by Canelo and GGG yet if he picked anyone else he is a cherry pick. Cotto is easily the worst, best fighter I've ever seen according to you guys.

This past week has shown how ****** all of you sound, really. This started off with as long as it's a MW after Canelo walked away and now that he is fighting a MW and made you all look like idiots, you change your tune to well it's not okay because he took too long. Cotto could fight and beat Canelo and GGG in the same night and you guys would say he still sucks because he didn't fight him at the same time. Like women, you guys are never satisfied.

He gets a voluntary blame the WBC not Cotto then, every fighter has gotten that option. You're just mad that Cotto is using it... not fast enough? That's seriously the issue now, which is my point. No matter what happens, nothing will satisfy you because you just hate Cotto. The guys who aren't haters say it's not a great fight but it's not bad given the options and again he is doing what he is allowed to do under the rules. Be mad at the WBC, not Cotto.

Do you just disregard Cotto's entire career when it helps your view or just all the time? He's done more than enough to make his name and prove himself so I'm not going to **** on him because after facing Sergio he's taking a tune-up before facing Floyd or Canelo next. Makes no difference to me he's fighting who he wants no matter what he says. If you have a problem with it, it's a you problem. He's doing nothing illegal and he's proven he'll face anyone... I'd rather have a fighter take the Cotto route and prove himself when he's young and slow down as he gets older, then the Danny Garcia or Canelo route which is fight bums twice a year. Apparently that's okay with you unless the word Cotto is the fighters name, then it's all bull**** everyone else is okay though.

No. He could have 1, 2 or 10. As long as he Depends against his mandatory within the sanctioning body's timeframe which can vary from 6 months for a normal champion to 18 for a WBA super champion.
