Yep. Heiland is no soft touch; a true MW and it's definitely not a given that Cotto wins in my opinion.

      Funny how that works.........lol
      When did that happen?

Cotto and his team seem very confused and unclear and do not appear to have a plan in place. I would think Roc presented him with a fight prior to him signing the deal.

It's clear Roc Nation has no idea what they are doing with Boxing. Lets see since they announced their arrival they made multiple purse bids to get in the game only to see a rival adviser force his fighters to vacate belts and refuse to fight on a Roc Nation card. They orchestrated a huge merger with Gary Shaw only to see Shaw upset after a month working with them and pulled out of the deal taking all his fighters with him. They made a big splash with Andre Ward but have not been able to secure a fight for him. And it looks like they have no clue on matching up a fight for Cotto who they massively overpaid for. Roc Nation is throwing around a lot of money but not actually putting on any fight cards. I don't think Roc Nation presented any fights to Cotto they just gave him a 5 mil check.

"Cotto should fight a MW doe."

He does and they still hate, they will hate for no reason other than to simply hate. Cotto is defending against a ranked MW, while Canelo is fighting unranked JMW at MW, but it's the better fight doe.

It seems more and more like that. Not like Jay Z even notices the money the gave Ward and cotto is missing.

They may have to do something like ward v cotto at some kind of CW. I'm sorry I even typed that.

It sounds ridiculous but it may be the only way we ever see either of them in a ring again.

Believe me I am upset its not Canelo or GGG but I do not think this is a bad fight. With the options Cotto left himself with, its better than a 147 Bradley or old K9 imo.
So its ok because its competitive. I'll get back on that.

                    And again.

                    So its competitive.

So the worlds middleweight champion is fighting an opponent who is not ranked in Independent rankings. An opponent who lost to Sebastian Zbig (zhit). Ridiculous. You guys dont have any faith in Cotto. For the integrity of the sport I assume you love you should Call for him to vacate. Untill then you are nothing but petty nuthuggers.

Nothing if only that volontary was within 90 days after him winning the title and if GGG hadn't been promised a shot at the winner (which I think was the case). As it stands now, he is set to fight a clubfighter as a first defense and that being 12 months after he won the title! Talk about keeping the belt hostage. Shame on him.
