Why do fighters hire Memo Heredia when they know he has a bad history with PEDs?

I'm all about second chances but since he went on record and bragged about how knows how to make undetectable peds, anything he does will be in questioned. If he got caught giving peds to his fighters and didn't know how to make untraceable peds then I can see where you are coming from but that's not the case here.oops, I got to edit that. supposed to be memo and ariza.
We know the real inetent of the thread. But I'll play along.
Angel “Memo” Heredia is quickly becoming a guy who is being sought after by some of the top fighters in boxing for his services of strength and conditioning. Heredia’s most notable client is Juan Manuel Marquez who shocked the world when he knocked Manny Pacquiao out cold in their thrilling war last December. Heredia however does have a checkered past as he was involved in supplying various athletes with performance enhancing drugs. After cooperating with authorities, Heredia received immunity for his involvement and has since turned to helping athletes in a legal manner and has left PEDs behind. Even with Heredia turning a new leaf, many still suspect him of foul play and most point to Marquez’s significant physical change since working with Heredia and his knock out of Manny Pacquiao. Both Marquez and Heredia have denied doing or using anything illegal and credit hard work and preparation for their results and success.
After cooperating with authorities, Heredia received immunity for his involvement and has since turned to helping athletes in a legal manner and has left PEDs behind.
It seems boxers like the legal manner in which he gets athletes prepared for events since he left PED's behind.
For example, Manny once walked away because of PED testing. He fought JMM without VADA testing. He now changed and is taking USADA testing for this fight and had VADA testing for Algieiri.
Why are you sticking to his past? Heredia appears to have changed for the better just like Manny. Isn't that a good thing?Comment

I'm not sure if the memo and floyd rumors are true but people are speculating since memo tweets photos of him at the mayweather gym. I made this thread for memo in general, not just about Floyd contrary to what Floyd fans think. Pascal and JMM are fighters I'm talking about and you have to question their decision to hire him in the first place with his shady past.Comment

all these are irrelevant if usada is doing the right thing. if this organization is only there to protect tmt fighters from getting caught then what's the point?
that's why testing in this fight is useless. otherwise, they would have sounded the alarm bells by now.

Bragged? he told the truth. He then said he no longer is involved with PED's. It's hard to go with one thing he said while simultaneously discounting something else he said.I'm all about second chances but since he went on record and bragged about how knows how to make undetectable peds, anything he does will be in questioned. What it comes down to is simple: a certain segment of NSB prefers to paint memo as a "PED chemist" rather than someone who no longer uses PED's with his clients because its easier and less hurtful to do that than admit JMM KO'd Manny clean or give Floyd credit if he wins the Manny fight.
As to why fighters hire him: his highest profile client to date won his biggest fight by KO with him on the team. Same reasoning guys hire Roach even though he has had clients he trained test positive for PED's.
As for Pascal/JMM-posters say them not doing VADA testing means they are suspect. Cool. When you then ask them does this apply to Kov/Manny who also didn't request VADA testing for those fights, they say no, it's only fighters who work with memo that have to have VADA testing to prove they are clean.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 03-24-2015, 12:59 PM.Comment
