Floyd has always been this way when he's not trying to use his "money" persona to sell a fight. This fight sells itself and he's not going to put forth the effort when he doesn't have to.

If you are using this line of reasoning for Floyd being actually a humble man, then you unknowingly/consciously admitting that Floyd fights were so boring, so unwanted it is not selling on it own that he has to beat women up, threatened his own son, rear naked choked his step son just to sell a fight.

If you are using this line of reasoning for Floyd being actually a humble man, then you unknowingly/consciously admitting that Floyd fights were so boring, so unwanted it is not selling on it own that he has to beat women up, threatened his own son, rear naked choked his step son just to sell a fight.

I'm not saying that out of the ring Floyd could be or is a douche bag and has done some things that are beyond wrong(nobody is a saint and I'm sure some of you like Mike Tyson THE RAPIST). What I'm saying is that he was a humble guy leading up to fights and after fights(to the opponents) before he bought out his contract and started the "Money" persona to sell PPV's. Floyd's PPV's prior to villain role weren't that great(maybe due to him being boring but IMO when Floyd was younger he was actually quite exciting for the most part)... after he became the villain he became the PPV King(I've found that since he became the PPV King his fights have been more boring). Floyd has always been humble when not trying to sell a fight. I always preferred the "Pretty Boy" over "Money" Mayweather.
