10 lbs across all divisions wouldn't make sense since 10 lbs is massive at lw and irrelevant at cw, but I wouldn't mind a formula such as:
Weight (night of fight) shall not exceed (interval between sanctioned division and next division up * 2).
So welterweights (154-147=7*2=14+147=161) couldn't exceed 161 on the night of the fight and so on.
It would be more strict in a perfect world but we all know the fighters would just starve themselves until right before their walkouts and end up dying in the ring if the threshold was too tight.
