People keep mentioning how Maidana touched up Mayweather but Maidana came in MMA style and is much bigger than Manny. Manny is not a pressure fighter and doesn't physically have the strength to impose himself on Mayweather. Mayweather is going to capitalize off of Manny being off balance and over reaching with his punches. Manny is going to be frustrated by the 3rd round and he is going to get smacked up by Floyd's right hand and kept at distant with the body punches to the mid section.
Killing himself to make weight??? Guess that kinda ****s on the only reason Manny is relevant today. Because that run of Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto came against three guys.......you guessed it. Killing themselves to make weight.
As for Floyd's loss to Serafim Todorov. It was a complete robbery, which is often the cause at the international level of amateur boxing.
Manny went from 135 to 147. And Oscar fought Steve Forbes at 150 the fight before. He went down 3 pounds. If he couldn't make the weight that's on Oscar. Cotto weighed 146 one fight before. The 145 catchweight had no effect on the fight. Pacquiao is all wrong for Cotto in any weight class. Hatton at 140? He was the lineal champ at the weight class. Who's fault is it that he blew up between fights? Manny fought him at his best weight class unlike Floyd. And Just like Manny lost to Bradley it happens. Robbery happened there just like Floyd got robbed deal with it.
Actually, you don't have to be a fortune teller or a genius to predict the winner on May 2 fight between the great Manny Pacquiao and chicken Floyd. All you have to do is watch Manny Pacquiao's last three fights and floyd's last three fights. "YOU CAN ONLY BE AS GOOD AS YOUR LAST FIGHTS". If Miguel Cotto and Marcos Maidana can hit Floyd that easy...expect the Pacman hitting Floyd ten times more.
