Prefer SKY's coverage. All round higher quality.

Absolutely agree. Can't believe people would rather have it on Boxnation than Sky. I have both but when it comes to it I'd rather any big fight was on Sky.
Steve Bunce - annoying tit.
Steve Lillis - same.
Richard Keys - f***ing Richard Keys??? What is doing on my boxing programme?
Yes Jim Watt can be annoying, but the overall package with Sky is infinitely better than Boxnation, not to mention production values. I have ****** and Boxnation isn't even available in HD on ******. It's like watching a ****ty stream sometimes.
Sky's coverage is polished. BoxNation's, despite now being around for several years, still seems amateurish to me. Bunce is an awful lead, and he and Lillis usually have an agenda to push.
Would prefer Ian Darke and Jim Watt any day.Comment

Agreed. BoxNation's coverage is TERRIBLE from top to bottom. Buncey blaring at you at 2 or 3 in the morning is not a good feeling, Lillis is decent enough IMO, but Barry Jones is incredibly dull, with an annoying voice and he provides virtually no insight whatsoever, as well as repeating stock phrases like "sharper work" and "plenty mobile". Another thing about Jones is, he never sounds remotely engaged or excited by a contest; so therefore he doesn't get you excited about it either. John Rawling is so-so, pretty annoying sometimes, far from the "smooth voice of boxing" Buncey calls him. Can't believe people would rather have it on Boxnation than Sky. Sky's twosome of Watt and Halling aren't much better, but at least sound excited when they commentate. I think McCrory and Smith, or better still Darke and McCrory, would be the best commentary team Sky could front for this.Comment

Sadly this fight just won't sell on Boxnation anywhere near as much as it will on Sky.
Sky can tap into a much larger audience by peddling the fight on Sky Sports News and promos throughout their Premier League broadcasts.
Boxnation of course would see a surge in subscription buys, but they can't promote it nearly as big as Sky can. Sky have a much bigger audience and platform to sell it on.Comment

Boxnation is for the real boxing fans. Sky should have Johnny Nelson commentating at ringside. They don't use him right. I rather see it on box nation.Comment

I like Bunce, he's been around years & knows his boxing.
Barry Jones is a gem & Steve Lillis does well
Sky has Jim Watt. As a boxing channel it's turned into QVC for Eddie Hearn's matchroom.
The fight is billed as "for the fans"
I think for the boxing fans the fight should have been shown on Boxnation
Boxnation have invested in the sport, they've kept their costs low and have been a blessing for the UK fansComment

I don't really like either
I can't name a single pundit I like.
Paul Smith is decent but his accent is hard to listen to.
I'd choose Sky if I had the choice. Like you said better coverage, more polished better production value.
Boxnation although its HD now still seems like an amateur show. The pundits, Bunce in particular, are unprofessional and the commentary is just horrible.
Skys isn't much better though, they need new pundits. Some of them I.e Johnny Nelson I don't think even watches boxing. Some of the things he says are just ridiculously wrong.Comment

Are you Frank/Francis Warren?

lol No mate
I used to be a critic of Warren's but the guy has earned his stripes and is in it for the long haul
Warren has risked his livelihood with Boxnation & the fans have been looked after.
The minute Hearn has any money worries he'll be straight back to darts/snooker. Until then, Hearn is intent on fleecing the public for every penny he can getComment
