He has a lower grade title, GGG holds the prime WBA title in the division. There is nothing to gain from kicking Jacobs' ass around the ring. He would be less trouble than Monroe will be. Whether Loeffler called out Quillin or not is irrelevant. We all know that Haymon guys will never fight on HBO, especially with his new PBC league up and running.

It really is too bad that a fighter with such a history of being a warrior and stooped to being a puss. I think Golovkin's camp is just keeping the pressure up so the WBC will strip Cotto almost immediately after his defense in June. Then GGG gets his shot at the belt he should have had months ago.Comment

Understandable, but its not the "true" championship unless its won from the lineal champion. Also GGG wants stardom he aint getting that from anyone but Cotto, Canelo, or a small boost from Chavez Jr. So as I said before stop wishing Cotto vacates, wish for Cotto to smash his next opponent and then wish that he fights GGG after or early next year.Comment

GGG has called out Mayweather and Cotto before Cotto even won the belt, saying he could make 154. And from what I recall it was Bob Arum and Top Rank that were offering Bradley and Rios, and Cotto decided to Jump ship and is rumored to possibly be fighting the WBC #1 ranked Middleweight International champion. So that does say alot,So far Cotto has not coaxed up a smaller fighter in his entire career, it remains to be seen what happens in June.Comment

He isn't waiting on Cotto and he knows Cotto won't fight him. Cotto became lineal world middleweight champ in early June of 2014 and won't be back in the ring until he fights Bundrage in early June 2015. Meanwhile during Cotto's year off GGG will have defended his title against 4 good middleweights with very strong pulses and all of them probably better than Bundrage. GGG fights Willie Monroe in mid May and Monroe is a very good middleweight in my opinion.Comment

Nobody cares about Danny Jacobs, nor should they until he starts fighting top ten opposition.
But who are we kidding, Danny doesn't want the fight nor will he ever want the fight. He'd rather keeping milking his fake title for all it's worth rather than get in the ring with the real champion.Comment
