I'm a Cotto fan, but he doesn't want anything to do with Golovkin. If he doesn't face him after both guys upcoming fights..then he should be stripped of his title.

I somewhat give Cotto a pass, he's 34-35 years old and fought everyone coming into last year. Now he's just getting away with the murder boxing politics allow him too. He's gonna milk this thing into retirement as Cotto is in his twilight years.

Martinez was a fighter who should not have been licensed to fight and should've been stripped because he couldn't make the deadline to defend against his mandatory. I am a huge martinez fan, was a huge cotto fan on his come up...but i'm not going to sit here and lie to myself like the Sergio that Cotto beat belonged anywhere near a ring, even moreso how the fk did sergio get clearance to fight when he didn't even have medical clearance to run until nearly 3 weeks before the fight night....but let's pretend that was a legit defense or win.

I agree with you. I'm just saying, if your gonna get paid $17mil to kick K9's ass, or $17mil to get the **** beat out of you by GGG, what are you gonna chose? Lol. Either way your getting $17mil and boxing and all of who runs it...is letting him get away with it.
