I'm not convinced Canelo will ever fight him either and not because the kid doesn't have balls, but I think everyone around him will prevent it from happening.

Canelo-GGG would be an absolute dream match, though.

You lose all credibility calling Cotto a coward in my book.

Like the guy says, he will only face GGG if it is in his interests, we all know that means make me an offer I can't refuse, or I'll go out and earn the money elsewhere.

Even if GGG fought for free there wouldn't be enough money in this fight to tempt Cotto into doing it.

Scotty, did you read about the deal he did with Roc? Cotto is already rich beyond the dreams of all but a handfull of boxers and he's going to get richer still, without any need to take a beat-down from GGG in the process.

And GGG doesn't need to beat Cotto to become the lineal MW champ. If Cotto vacates and goes back down to SWW the lineal title will either be awarded to GGG by default, as he is Cotto's mandatory, or the winner of GGG vs whoever the WBC nominate to fight him for their belt will become lineal champ as well as WBC champ. That's how it works.
