Manny Pacquio is a guy who rises to the occasion. He grew up in adversity, he thrived. Roach is using a bit of psychology and getting Pacman to get back to being that cigarette seller who better sell enough cigs on the street if he wants to eat. One unknown variable of this fight is indeed Pacman's ability to go way beyond when he needs to do so. I agree with Roach that Manny has been a bit complacent....its unavoidable. He knows Marquez, knew Chris was not a real threat and what did he have against Bradley? Pac knew deep down that it was not Tim's fault the judges saw the fight for Bradley.

I think getting Pac back to thrive mode and making his distaste for Floyd palpable is a necessity and Roach is not ******. I think Roach anticipates with Glee when Floyd's father mocks his illness because he knows how Manny is wird inside. Roach has never been a brilliant technical trainer but he is very goos psychologically. Dundee was the patron saint of the real motivators.....a man who could get Ali, Leanard to go into high gear with a few words and while Roach is no Dundee, this psychology is his forte.

Lets look at the second Louis Schmelling fight...Louis could have been pressured, could have crumbled under the weight of having lost to Schmelling at a time when a victory was so important....But he GOT MAD. He took Schmelling out of his technical game entirely by simply going after him with all his accumlated speed power and precision. Manny has to make Floyd respond to a viscious onslaught so that Floyd's technical controls are, at least for a while out of commission. Floyd's father does Floyd no favors by letting Manny own that anger. Roger mayweather knows when to shut his ego down, senior does not and this may be Floyd's undoing!! If the fight follows this narrative. Freddie Roach KNOWS this and is workin junior through Senior's googly eyed azz!! The drug testing is a perfect example of this because he has put floyd' team on the defensive, made Senior stoke Manny's flame....

What utter garbage. Manny hasn't knocked anybody out for over five years and nine fights, and he's going to KO Floyd? He couldn't KO Algieri, but he'll KO Floyd?? Sure he will buddy.

Clottey - Fought to survive, Pac won every round, face swollen bad

Margarito - should have been a TKO ref and corner should have stopped it, Pac won 11 rounds, face all F'ed up, broken optical bone.

Mosley - Knocked down only 2nd time in career, Pac won every round, face jacked up.


Marquez 3 - Marquez fought safe was out jabbed and out punched by PAC, won 8 rounds, punch stats show 8-3 and one even in Pac favor in most landed punches per round, Marquez face all F'ed up...

Bradley - Battered a prime guy won 10 rounds, fought to survive last 7 rounds, face swollen

Marquez 4 - Got caught by a guy full of Memo ****tails after 40 rounds a guy winless in three fights was determined none the less, face was all F'ed up

Rios - Fought like Winky Wright and Clottey with a high guard, only threw 460 punches in 12 rounds mostly jabs normally throws 800 in 12 rounds mostly power shats, but was battered every round and face was completely all F'ed up, won every round

Bradley 2 - Solid win against a crafty undefeated 30 year old veteran. Bradley after the fight said the pop was still there, Won 8 or 9 rounds

Algeri - Dominate perfomance against a fresh 30 year old that is taller and longer and at this point moves better and has fresher legs than May, 6 knockdowns *only 4 legit knockdowns* fight could have been stopped twice. Very impressive footwork against a mover that mostly ran. Won every round

KOs are hard to get when people stop fighting to win or KO you. Hatton and Cotto were trying to put a hurting on Pac which made them vulnerable to be KOed. Most guys after that just fought to survive and counter and outpoint. If Rios fought like Rios instead of Wrinky he would have been KOed and the only reason he didn't fight like himself is because he felt the speed and power. Power is the last thing to go at 36 Manny still has his power and footwork while Floyd at 38 lost his legs and reflexes although his reflexes are still better than 99% of the guys out there those fractions you lose at 38 vs 28 makes a difference.

Lastly, All the bad things, Floyd said about Manny from 2009 to present he is gonna have to pay. Ali whipped Frazier horrible in the first fight Frazier went to the ICU and spent a month in the hospital. Look at his face after the first fight... But Ali dogged him so bad Fraizer went to the edge of death and took 3 to land 1 just to win... I think this will be the same situations, all the accusations, the racist sushi and rice comments, posting pics of the KO, talking about his personal finances without info, and etc. Manny although talks nice to the masses, dude is a proud beast. The look he had on his face at the presser was the same one Frazier had... I'm gonna make you eat every word even if I have to walk through hell and fire to do so... Floyd is going to lose and if father time shows up to reminds him that he is 38, if that happens he is in for an epic beat down...
