Cotto fought ONCE as a middleweight because Sergio thought he was to small and to stationary to win, so theres your champ. My guy has been fighting at the weight for years and has extended contracts to any one who is willing. You may think Cotto is some kind of Champ but the politics and money game have you fooled.

Anyone thinks by "Belts" doesn't have eyes to see who's the best and who's the fraud.

He'd be slightly below Salvador Sanchez. A good fighter who never really got to showcase his talent against the cream of the crop

If he retired today, he would be looked back upon as one of the greatest unrealized talents in boxing history. And that would not be his fault at all. Of course this it all totally irrelevant as he has many years of boxing left in his career and many other opponents to fight and destroy.

He would be forgotten as would Ward and Rigondeaux. Great fighters who have yet to leave a lasting impression.

                  1. Why would a boxer be remembered if they retired before their biggest fights?
                  2. Most boxers won't be remembered at all. It's been a niche sport for the last 20 years.

Leave it to these so-called "boxing fans" to do everything they can to bash one of the most talented and exciting fighters in boxing, as well as maybe THE best ambassador for the sport.
                  Ambassador? wow...

He would be a great ambassador for the sport. He is a gentleman, never trash talks anyone, doesn't have tattoos like a gang member from East LA or like a Russian mobster, doesn't walk to the ring with a dozen gangsta rap fools or Justin Bieber looking ******, doesn't spout ridiculous things about how his god is so great and will fight anyone with the balls to get in the ring with him. What more could the sport ask for?

Sorry dude but Sanchez fought some great fighters before his passing Azumah Nelson and Wilfredo Gomez. So I would say way below Sanchez
