Sorry GGG, Floyd is fighting a guy who was on his way back to 140. Floyd's 154 belts are just for show. Besides, what makes anyone thinks he would fight GGG at 154 if he needed a catchweight to fight Canelo? Top 10 ATG if let's be honest when he beats Pac doe.

come on weebler. you know the PR team makes sure the Floyd question is answered so they can get the rub from it. Boxing media guys would ask about more realistic fights with HBO affiliated opposition.

So because two guys are/were trained by the same guy and say they're avoided, that makes them equal? If you think ggg is the next yori boy, you're either insane, blind or ******ed. Take your pick.

I hope that he doesn't turn out to be another yori boy... It'll be great for future generations to enjoy.

But... They must know something that we dont for GGG not to move up yet when hes already over 30 yrs old with over 30 pro fights.

I like GGG, but his desire to challenge naturally smaller guys in Mayweather and Pacquiao, is just as bad as Ward calling him out. And if he isn't going to use an interpreter during interviews, he needs to take some more English speaking classes ASAP!

the 160lb division still has many names and there hasn't been any unification. Why do people want him to move up already before fighting any other champion?

GGG: That fight makes no financial sense

Chavez jr: Ill fight you 168

                  GGG: Ill take that fight

So ya mean to tell me he'll fight chavez jr for no belt but wont fight ward for the lineal 168 lbs title? And I dont wanna hear about ward not being ppv material cuz when has GGG headlined a ppv?

                  Heres a better one:

                  Before cotto wins the wbc

                  belt: Ill fight anyone 154-168

After cotto wins the wbc belt: I want to unify division first

No f^cker, you don't want to move up weight and get exposed like abel sanchez old fighter yori boy campas.
You answered your own question. Why would GGG, who's trying to get recognition, fight Ward- who is naturally bigger and a virtual non-entity? Chavez, Jr teeters between MW & SMW, is not known to be 100% dedicated, but his name alone carries much weight. Beating him would propel GGG further than beating Ward, and it would generate bigger dollars. And how many fights has Ward had since the conversation even came up to face GGG? His rep is in the toilet.

And you know Cotto is the one saying that he won't be told who to fight by sanctioning bodies when GGG is mentioned, so who's ducking whom?

Only difference being is that Ward is calling Golovkin to fight in what would be his 2nd weight class. Golovkin wants Mayweather in his 5th and Pacquiao in his 9th. Golovkin is a coward.

Again, it's probably more about gaining fame and cash. Who wouldn't want to face the two biggest names in boxing? Ward hasn't fought in ages, and still hasn't announced an opponent! What, is GGG his only option?
