So... take the chavez jr fight for no belt cuz its more $$$.... dont fight ward whos at the top of 168 cuz "it makes no financial sense" but then you complain about cotto... double standards anyone? You answered your own question. Why would GGG, who's trying to get recognition, fight Ward- who is naturally bigger and a virtual non-entity? Chavez, Jr teeters between MW & SMW, is not known to be 100% dedicated, but his name alone carries much weight. Beating him would propel GGG further than beating Ward, and it would generate bigger dollars. And how many fights has Ward had since the conversation even came up to face GGG? His rep is in the toilet.
And you know Cotto is the one saying that he won't be told who to fight by sanctioning bodies when GGG is mentioned, so who's ducking whom?Comment

Ward is not at the top of anything other than the garbage heap. Let us know when he gets in the ring against a live body. While we're waiting, you can let us know when Cotto gets back in the ring also.Comment

Did you watch the video? Because if you did you would clearly see/hear that someone asked him directly if he would fight the winner of Floyd/Pac at 154 and GGG replied with "absolutely". They asked him if he could make 154 comfortably and he answered "Yes absolutely it's not problem". He also stated his goal is to unify the middleweight division. When asked if it's frustrating the top guys wont fight him he said something along the lines of "I understand it's business, boxing business....I just try to fight the best". He wasn't actively calling out Floyd/Pacquiao, simply answered questions reporters asked him.Comment

This will never happen. No point in talking about it. Not sure why reporters keep asking him if he would fight Floyd.
DUH. Why wouldn't he take a night of easy work against a 154lber who's the richest athlete in the world-win the Floyd lottery by getting millions of dollars and have his face all over the globe for being the first person to knock out Floyd Mayweather? Is he supposed to say "no?" lolComment

Wow you're calling pro boxers cowards now? (one who hasn't even done anything "cowardly" such as blatantly ducking his best opponents, etc)
You're such a man, though. Eh?
