I have no problem with GGG calling out Floyd if he feels he can make 154. Floyd is the biggest name in boxing and everybody wants to fight him...but let's keep it real here. Small MW or not he's still a lot bigger than Floyd and he could easily fight at 168 (something he has already done as an amteur).
Regarding making the weight comfortably. Kovalev been fighting as a LHW his entire pro career so making 175 has obviously never been a problem. GGG been a pro since 2006 and never went down to 154 so no matter what he says none of us know whether he'll make 154 in a healthy way.
I would love to see Floyd take risks and put himself in a situation where he wouldn't be the favorite and try to pull the upset....but I'm 99.9% sure Floyd will never fight GGG so he should just forget about the 154 division and say that he'll retire at 147 and only interested in fighting welterweights.
