    Convenient. Very convenient.
He might be drained but it was his call.

Ward is a champ at 168. So you saying that GGG can move down to 154 & fight the smaller floyd, but won't move up to 168 & fight ward?

Also, floyd didn't have abelt when he fought lightweight marquez.

Watch Dawson-Hopkins II. Dawson calls out Ward. Says they can fight at SMW. Dawson brought this up out of the blue.

I know, Dawson's fault, though didn't he try to get it done at catchweight 170lbs as well.

Dawson got a big payday was drained and got beat, Ward got little credit. Both got what they deserved.

GGG is seen as a much bigger threat, and dropping 3 lbs more than he has weighed for some fights is not huge. He is a small middleweight as well.

Floyd being a small light middlleweight would get a lot of credit if he won.

GGG can move down or up, it is his choice, his main wish it to have some unification fights.

If Floyd don't want to fight the best challenges at 154lbs then vacate, he should have been stripped a long time ago.

If you can't defend your title in a year, against top opposition then you get stripped IMO.

Is there a reason why you are against GGG vs Mayweather at 154lbs?

He still fought a small lightweight at the time with Marquez.

Could you imagine Thruman fighting Mikey Garcia next and ignoring an agreed catchweight.

I don't see the point in a floyd GGG fight? What would that prove? Nothing. I know he fought jmm & jmm had his next 2 fights at 135 lbs. Imo he shoulda fought mosley instead, but mosley wasn't a draw & jmm was cuz he had a whole country behind him.

              The question is:
Why don't you want to see GGG & Ward? Cuz you completely ignored the fact that I posted that "GGG can go down to 154 & fight floyd but not fight ward at 168?"

I think the point of the fight is a good fight what the fans want to see, with a lot of legacy on the line.

Yet Mayweather vs Marquez did 1 million PPV and Mayweather vs Mosley did 1.4m. Turns out Mosley was the draw and that was just Floyd's excuse.

GGG vs Ward is a good fight, GGG is much the smaller man but has the skills and power to beat Ward.

But GGG is a middleweight, and the main priority is to rule the division. Moving up to super middle is in his future not present. A fight at 154lbs could happen now rather than in the future for GGG

It would be fun to see but you can't blame Floyd for not taking such a risk. It's a big size difference. 154 is not a natural weight for GGG. As a pro he has never fought at 154. Didn't GGG win olympic gold at 168lbs? GGG is really a MW/SMW. He's closer to Ward in size....When was the last time he made 154? Probably when he was 19-20 years old so I'm not sure he'll be able to make the weight without being weight drained.

I guess GGG will be 167-170 at fight night vs Floyd at 150 fight night.

If Floyd beats Pac and then takes on GGG and beats him too I have no problem with co-signing him everytime he says he's the best ever. Floyd will never fight him tho.

I think as long as Floyd has those 154lbs belts, he should be expected to fight anyone considered the best at that weight.

Same goes for any title holder.

GGG is a small middle, 154lbs is a squeeze but he can do it, probably just as comfortably as Kovalev makes 175lbs.

Floyd should have vacated or been stripped a long time ago in reality.

                      Like Golovkin?

Yes Ward is a brave man for trying to drag MW Golovkin up to fight him.

Golovkin is a coward for agreeing to drain himself down to fight the current ring JMW champ.
