That's why every fighter is hated. Success breeds it. That's why Mayweather and Pacquiao garner so much hate, it's because they are the two most popular fighters in the sport.

Golovkin's hype is more centered towards how he disposes of his opposition and the skills he possesses though, at least to the rational heads here but then you have those who like to overrate his opposition. You'll see threads like Murray/ Rubio or {Insert someone Golovkin beat} vs Canelo, Cotto, Lara or Quillin. It's sad really.

Not necessarily, no. I try not to use that either but the term "haterz" is just very feminine.

What does questioning Golovkin's resume or his team's intentions have to do with "hating" the man? Where does that connection come from?

So true. You're either a "hater" or "d-rider." Nothing in between. It's so dumb.

Well it's pointless to discuss GGG vs Canelo, Cotto or Quillin because none of them have the balls to get in the ring with him and Lara is just a twitter moron that any legitimate MW would send on his way to dreamland.

He's actually my third favorite active fighter behind Miguel Cotto and Manny Pac.

However, I'm not as keen to the theory of him being the most feared fighter in boxing. In fact, I seen this with Paul Williams and so many bought into that notion but as soon as he lost to Carlos Quientana all of those praising Paul as boxing most feared right away dubbed him overrated.

I wouldn't be surprised if history repeats itself with GGG.

Who do you see beating Lara? I don't even like Lara but I don't see anyone on Golovkin's resume who beats him, nor do I see anyone who beats Canelo or Cotto. I don't think it has anything to do with balls, I think it's about doing anything to keep the Canelo-Cotto fight intact.

Well I've never seen Lara fight a middleweight so until he does, and he proves he can take MW power, I'll pick any ranked MW over him. I think any ranked middleweight gives Cotto a beating, he is simply too small to fight a genuine middleweight in good shape. I think Canelo has possibilities but it's hard to say until he actually decides to move into the division instead of sitting at 155. But he wants nothing to do with GGG which is not surprising seeing as how Oscar has said he beats GGG easily and he would have to prove he can do it.

GGG is one of the most humble and friendliest person in boxing. It's impossible to hate him! IMPOSSIBLE!
