Huh? Loeffler can reach out to Cotto but he can't reach out to Haymon who he claims to have a great relationship with?

i still dont understand why people are so pressed to see ggg beat up the smaller cotto it literally makes no sense to me. the guy might have a mw belt but he is no mw period he weighed in at 155 against martinez it was a fight that made sense and even against the small martinez he was tiny compared to him. Lets not forget people were giving cotto **** for not wanting to fight martinez he did then people bashed him for fighting him. I just dont understand why people bash cotto for taking a risk in first place hindsight is 20 20 but he didnt know martinez would be as bad as he was and now because cotto took that risk he has to fight the way bigger ggg just because he has a belt? Its just getting old and this whole ggg can do no wrong is also getting old if no one calls him out and keeps giving his team excuses we will never get to see the great ggg really in a fight we will continue to see him chase the belts at 160 against fighters that have no real chance. Maybe im just being an ******* about it but this whole things just smells of bull**** to me and hes being promoted as this guy who will fight anyone and who is avoided but his actions speak differently

GGG wants to be the unified MW champ and Cotto holds the WBC and lineal MW titles, so GGG needs to fight him to achieve his goal.

As for the move up to 168, that was always something GGG's team were looking at doing in the future - AFTER he cleans up at MW, not before. It would be a gamble, for sure, and could destroy his dreams of ever being an undisputed champ at any weight if it went wrong.

He would have to be crazy to take a risk like that at this stage of the game, now that he is mandatory for Cotto and has hopes of a shot at the WBO belt if Lee can see off Quillin.

And please, shut up about Lara. Even if Lara's team wanted it, which they don't, it would be a complete mismatch and do nothing for GGG's career or reputation: "He only fighting smaller guys doe"

Cotto is consider THE middleweight champ and that's why GGG is hunting for him, it's not personal and it's that simple.

let's also be honest.. He brings a lot of $$ to the table.. and we all know mayweather/pac are way too small.. chavez is way too big.. canelita is not interested.. Ward is MIA.. What GGG wants and what we as fans should want are TWO different things. Personally, GGG beating the small Jr. Middle in Cotto, does not make GGG a "middleweight" champ. Cotto is a Jr. Middle regardless of what his belt might say and NOTHING changes this reality.


Funny how 90% of the peasants claim GGG will "end Cotto's career EASY," yet in the same sentence, think that it somehow makes GGG a bonafide "MIDDLEWEIGHT" champ. Raise those standards...

And didn't this big old scared coward just say he'll go down to 154 for the winner of May-Pac? He is so scared to death of moving up 8lbs that he would most likely drain himself to 150-154lbs for a payday, and try to make up for the lost weight by having his good 25lb advantage on fight night over May or Pac if they decided to actually make that donation to him.

GGG is like any other fighter, he wants big money fights, not belts. His fans will make you believe that, but the fighters he calls out indicates he just wants that payday like any one else.
