At the end of the day, GGG is an asset to the network given the amount of resources poured into marketing this guy. A fighter like Lara, would prove too much of a risk at this level where the network can see a better return on other matchups like the Cottos, Alverezs, and Mayweather. Until then, his management, promoters and distribution channels will continue to carefully pick the next fight.

There is nothing wrong with that, but just see it for what it is. Clever match-making.

Other way around, I love Lara, dont get me wrong. I believe he comfortably beat Canelo, but Al Haymon is going to keep him FAR FAR away from GGG.

That's essentially the crux of Dirk's beef with Golovkin. He's been pretty sore about him ever since HBO used a quote from Froch that implied he wanted nothing to do with Golovkin.

That's just further fuel to the Golovkin myth. Using quotes or "we tried to make this fight" as a way to hype him.

You can make it about me or Froch or whoever you want. I speak the truth.
