I think it's perfectly reasonable to ask for a bigger name or better fighter. I honestly can't see how anyone can say anything against it.

Cotto isn't fighting anyone, he's willing to fight on HBO. Now, I agree chances are small - but it would be a PPV fight on HBO. Have they even offered Cotto a fight?

HBO doesn't add zeros to the end of offer sheet lol, what kind of a fairy tale you live in? They got on the GGG train cause he was so much **** for the buck. Now no matter how committed they are they can't throw enough money at a legit name guy. The other guy will sell the ppv, with GGG a strong B side but taking a much smaller cut.

Golovkin wants to piggy back off the success of an elite fighter and if he can't do that, they'll continue to hand pick these sacrificial bums who they don't have to pay anything.

That's the K2 business model, they won't dig a little deeper into their pockets or make the effort to put on a fight against a Lara.
