It would be a better win that Wille Jr obviously and it would be more about building the Golovkin brand than the actual stature of the win. What the hell does this fight do for him? It deserves to tank.

Where in any of those articles does it say that either Lara or Hopkins don't want to fight Golovkin?

Lara wants Cotto and Andrade so that mean he doesn't want Golovkin?

why do you even entertain an andre ward fight when he's not active, the fight isn't happening until he returns to activity, regardless of what's being said now, when they are negotiating things will go differently, and golovkin will want the fight, from there they'll do what has to be done to make it happen

My thoughts exactly SS, not sure why certain posters keep wanting Golovkin to fight above MW (Why doesn't Ward come down to 60 and fight him or go UP to 75 and get busy with Kovalev?) When GGG moves up to 68 in the near future there will be plenty of time to make these fights.

All trollin aside:

- Lara called out ggg on twitter. Ronnie shields said he wasn't serious.
Lara showed vs Canelo that despite being in a big fight, he will still try to stink out the joint. No-one wants to see it

- Hopkins called out ggg before kova. Also said his name immediately after kova. Hasn't said his name since. Abel Sanchez said after the kova fight he would want that fight.

Promoters chat **** . They all do. And that's what this thread is pointing out. But big deal...arum said something like mayweather is best boxer he ever worked with - even better than Ali.

They're even using Lara's name to promote Willie Jr

It's beyond embarrassing that they're directly referencing Lara and "the Cuban style" whilst making zero attempt to make a fight with him.
