I suggested Hopkins on the under card of Froch-Chavez. Actually Julio Jr suggested that and I thought it was a cool idea.
Can Hopkins still make 168,without looking like a weight drained zombie? Because if its a full strength Hopkins, that could be an interesting fight,to see what GGG does against a bigger, stronger, expierenced slick boxer. But if Hopkins is weak, the forum will cry out "GGG cherry picked a 50 year old, weight drained, kovalev leftover."

You're not buying HBO not working with Haymon? Is it that you don't get HBO in the UK so not aware? Hard to believe you didn't notice, having spent so much time on Nsb

Hopkins has typically weighed in well under the 175lb limit. He said he felt small against Kovalev and was obviously desperate for the Froch fight at 168. Weight is not an issue.

Once again, he's fighting Willie Munson Jr and you're worried what the forum are going to say about Bernard Hopkins?

I'm not buying that Tom Loeffler even pursued the possibility of a Lara fight despite giving it the Billy Big Bollox about how that fight could be next

Lol you guys want the same lara who got mauled by angulo and out hustled by canelo to fight a beastly hitter like ggg Yea ok. In what world does that help ggg willie jr may not be the next big thing now but he is a talented slick southpaw who campaigns at 160. If anything its more of a gimmie fight he can get some great quality rounds and stay active while cottos clock runs out on defending the belt.

Why does he have to fight someone else to get a shot at Golovkin whereas ya boy, Willie Jr, gets the fight automatically off the back off beating a shot to **** Bryan Vera?

                Makes no sense
No, we don't all know that Lara would go to 160 because all he has done so far is talk about it. Now he says in a video 9 days ago that he is staying at 154. Your theory is ****.
Getting that belt off Jacobs and enforcing the mandatory would be the best bet for Lara getting this ass kicking that you want to sign him up for.
Do you follow boxing at all?
Fighters can not just go fight on any network vs any opponent. You pretend like the politics of the sport and weight classes don't exist.
It is pretty simple to understand, if you aren't a moron(like you):
Monroe Jr is ranked #2 by the WBA AT MIDDLEWEIGHT and can fight on HBO
Erislandy Lara is a JUNIOR MIDDLEWEIGHT and fights on what ever network Al Haymon is paying or Showtime(not HBO)

Eh whatever. As if anyone thinks Lara has a chance. Neither does Munroe, but I'm sure HBO would rather deal with his people.

So wait....is Lara not allowed to fight on HBO because Haymon won't let him? I thought it was because HBO didn't approve Lara? But then Loeffler said after the Murray fight that Lara can be next.

Mixed messages coming out of the GGG camp. Pick 1 excuse and stick to it, lads.

You mean K2 would rather offer fights to bums on silver platters rather than pursue a potentially tricky fight that might be slightly more difficult to make?
