That's my point. Kovalev-Pascal is one of the premier matchups in the sport. It is one of the best fights that will be made all year. It did 1.1M. Will Berto-Lopez make the top 100 matchups? No. It still did good numbers.

The best fights, like Kovalev-Pascal, need to be available to 100M homes, not 30M. Boxing died on HBO and SHO. Boxing needs to rid itself of the subscription service curse.

Or Haymon can just... you know, make good fights? You know like, do something he's never done..... Match up his own fighters against NON-Haymon fighters who are actually GOOD fighters?

If I scrolled the whole history of all ur post I prolly won't find one that expresses any frustration towards Arum for constantly attempting to pit all 4 fighters in his stable against each other over and over and over again . I'm saying Haymon has the opportunity to make these kind of fights... he has like all the big regular TV networks. Instead of bringing in D- level fighters to fight Broner, truck drivers to fight Arreola.... he can match his fighters against NON-Haymon fighters who are actually GOOD.


Come on now, don't play dumb..... How many times has Haymon done that? Give me a list of all the NON-Haymon fighters who his fighters have voluntarily fought who are actually GOOD and non brought in for "showcase" fights to trick casual viewers into thinking his fighters are world-class and dominating a "good" opponent.

The only problem with HBO and Showtime is that their PEAK/CEILING Seems to be stuck at 1 Million+. The number just haven't grown over the years which is unfortunate considering that they have way more Subscribers now compared to back when Lennox Lewis and Roy Jones Jr was fighting on HBO

But this is great for Kovalev, he is not American but yet he is becoming somewhat of a draw on HBO at least!

It says 1.152M. A great matchup between two exciting top 3 LHWs does less viewers on the same network than a boring headbutter coming off 1+ year of inactivity for a tuneup.
