Comments Thread For: Ray Mancini: Pacquiao a Bad Style For Floyd Mayweather

2015 Hall of Famer Ray 'Boom Boom' Mancini is giving Floyd Mayweather Jr. the edge to defeat Manny Pacquiao when they collide for the WBO/WBA/WBC welterweight titles on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mancini is a big fan of Pacquiao and says the unorthodox southpaw style of the Filipino fighter will give Mayweather a lot of trouble, but he expects the pound-for-pound king to remain undefeated at the end of the night. He views Mayweather as getting the decision win because of him being "bigger, faster and stronger."

Pac has a shot. But that shot can only be bigger if he will able to unleash his Dog on him.

Pacman might just surprise everybody, including Floyd. His losses don't mean anything now.

Manny's going to make Floyd look ancient on fight night. Floyd even looks old against Marcos f**king Maidana for f**k's sake.

Manny's going to whoop the f**k out this geezer.

Boom boom,I'm sorry, but I have go politely disagree with part of your assessment. At this point,Pacquiao has the advantage in foot speed, and hand speed,he's far more mobile, and can still throw in high volume, whilst Floyd rarely throws more that 1 or 2 punches at a time. As for size and strength, why do people talk as if Pacquiao has never been in there with a bigger fighter? Did he not fight margarito, who was 5'11,165 lb? So how is Floyd who is 5'8,151lbs soaking wet, going to overpower Pacquiao? Pacquiao has almost always been the smaller fighter going in,so this is nothing new to him. Its going to be a verry close fight, and not a whitewash like most Floyd fans hope it will be.

Maidana and Pac fight nothing alike. In Maidana you have a madman who will do anything to win, even if it's means breaking the rules. Maidana is much bigger than Manny and tries to bully himself on opponents.

What boom boom said about Floyd leaning to his right is the exact thing I have been saying. Go watch pacquiao Bradley 1. Bradley was doing the same thing as Floyd, leaning to the right to duck punches. Every single time Manny would throw his straight left, Bradley would try to duck his head to the right and mannys fist met bradleys face in the spot he moved his head. Manny was timing his punches and throwing them to where he knew bradleys head would be after he threw it.
