I'm not even sure how Andrade is all that relevant. Outside his win over Matirosyn he's done nothing of significance. Monroe's wins over Adams, Kopylenko, and Vera trump everything else on Andrade's resume.

I hope by that he's not insisting Golovkin needs to get his name more out there. Andrade is the one with a lot to prove before its a mega fight..Comment

Seen it and I'm not saying Golovkin is ducking Ward but his fans are extremely quick to jump down any fighter's throat that says they want to build a fight against him when his team have publicly stated they want to build a fight with Ward.
You can't have it both ways.Comment

Some more marinating bullshhh. Theres some good fighters, screw fightin em right now, take a step back and fight lower tier fighters and work ur way back up to top 10..again, and hopefully by then youll be ready to actually fight the top guys. Thats whats wrong with fighters these days, they work their way up the rankings trying to earn a shot, they finally get there and win, only to want to wait a few more years to actually face the top guys...smh.
The thing with marinating fights is that it rarely ever works and kills alot of steam and momentum. And the thing about top guys, they should face other top guys. Not make it to the top only to NOT face top guys. Thats why i can look at all of the sanctioning bodies "champions" & pivk out 3/4 weak "champs" in almost every division.Comment

Easy way to use an equal hand in the matter. If a guy, whoever he is, calls out a guy at a higher weight, he should not throw in "building the fight up first" talks because then he is speaking prematurely. That goes for Andrade or GGG or anyone who has done that. The fighter, whoever it is should call out a guy when he is ready and willing to face that fighter. Same goes for a guy in the same division who calls out a guy and then says after he fights X, Y, Z first.
But sometimes it is just management saying one thing and the fighter saying another. You have to ask yourself did GGG say he wants to build up the Ward fight or did his management? Did Andrade say he wants to build up the GGG fight or did his management? There lies your answer. I haven't read enough from both sides to say. I'll leave that up to others to use an equal measuring stick.
But bias overrides the logic above and there is plenty of bias by some fans, not all.Last edited by richardt; 03-17-2015, 11:39 AM.Comment
