Rodolfo Chávez, co-trainer and uncle of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., says a Mexican explosion with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez needs to happen in the near future. Rodolfo says the showdown is too big, with the Mexican public, to avoid forever.
There is a big weight difference right now between the fighters. Chavez is coming back on April 18th against Andrzej Fonara at a catch-weight of 172-pounds, and Canelo takes on James Kirkland at 155-pounds on May 9th.
