Marquez really has nothing to do with this fight. I wish posters, and writers for this site would acting like marquez is part of this equation.

Marquez is a counter puncher--yes. But he also sits down on his punches, probably the best combination puncher in boxing--those two qualities are not part of May's game. Also, contrary to Floyd fan boys: Floyd doesn't have power like he used to. So, when people suggest that because Marquez ko'd Manny that Floyd will--no. Also, styles make fights... We all know this. And, Mannys style is going to give May a lot of problems. Again, Marquez is a counter puncher who looks for exchanges. May is a guy who picks and chooses scuffles during the fight, he looks for weakeness to exploit. He does it in a slow and methodical pace. Manny applies massive pressure and creates via hand speed and foot speed. Marquez was able to exploit Mannys mistakes by catching him out of position, setting traps, and plain and simply--fighting him. May isnt going to do that.

Again, Marquez's fight with May isn't relevant, and his fight with Manny too. I wished people would quit suggesting that his fight is some sort of subtext. It's really not

Mayweather is terrified right now. Manny is calm and ready. That said, Manny isn't what he used to be IN THE RING, so Floyd can just play defense and win a boring, 12 round decision.

What do you think Roach is talking about? Why does Roach state they need to be perfect? He is talking about Manny's lack of discipline in past game plans. You need to watch closer. Whether you want to credit FMJ or not. Roach knows FMJ is a different class and also knows that those mistakes that were made against Marquez - will kill him against FMJ. Marquez needed a KO to beat Manny, FMJ does not. Manny is the underdog for a reason. Stop trying to blow smoke. Manny is not discipline fighter - Period.

Thats why for the past 5 years,floyd fans have been acting like if Pacquiao is a c grade fighter,and not an 8 division world champion,and guaranteed hall of famer. It won't be an easy fight for either of them,and they'll both have to be at the top of their games to win.

Floyd fans scared? We always maintain our stance on Floyd beating Pacquiao but Pacquiao fans always have excuses that make it seem like Manny is either shot or Floyd needs to cheat to win. We know damn well Floyd don't need to cheat to beat Manny who don't even have any advantages over Mayweather.
