Not just these comments, but based and many of the comments coming from Roach, it would seem that Roach is laying the ground work to blame Pac for not executing the perfect game plan that he (Roach) put together. On another note fighters and trainers dont usually acknowledge needing to fight the "perfect" fight to win, when they do it's usually an admission that they are not as good as there opponent. Take that as you will.

If that's the case then Manny simply can't win. Manny has to come out at the sound of the 1st with reckless aggression to give himself an opportunity to win.

The chances of Floyd actually stopping Pacquiao are very slim. Why will Pacquiao not be able to make this just as difficult for Floyd as Maidana did? What does Maidana have or do that Is better than Pacquiao? Just looking for answers to back up your comment. I am actually curious as to why people think that Pacquiao will not be competitive.

Well I don't think it will be easy at all! But I also don't think it will be as hard as the Maidana fight! Maidana was bigger and wild! You really can't train for a person who throws wild shots. Maidana size allowed him to bully Floyd! PAC is fast but not as big! He won't be able to bully Floyd which I think Floyd will actually try to bully him! (Canelo, Ortiz, ext) Maybe not bully but will be the aggressor. I think he will have problems early, but will adjust by the 3rd and will put on a clinic. I watched the Bradley and Algeri fights and saw a lot of flaws in PAC! They were both able to make PAC miss, but weren't able to return punches, which Floyd will make you pay. When they did throw, they caught PAC with the right hand consistently. Go watch those fights and tell me if that PAC beats Floyd! I can't see it!

If you watched the fights of Manny, U'll see that he's been hit by that "JMM" counter right hand for I bet more than a thousand times against all sorts of opponent - especially the HOFs.. but for some reason that 1 JMM counter right sent Manny to another world. An Angel must have given him extraordinary-strength to do it.. XD

They want FMJ to lead some. Roach knows Manny will get knocked out again if he just follows FMJ. They will try to set traps and counter FMJ's counters. It sounds like a solid game plan. FMJ leading/he will be more open. I do not think Manny should welcome FMJ into his space. With that type of plan, if they have some success, FMJ will just use his high guard defense while walking towards Manny. He did the same with Judah and Mitchell. Take away the southpaw's counter ability, awkwardness, and speed. Close the distance. I assume that will be apart of FMJ's game plan anyway. Now, some will say you cannot compare Manny with Judah and Mitchell. But the fact is Judah and Mitchell were seasoned boxer/counter punchers. Manny is not a counter puncher and is not a inside fighter. Whether this fight takes place on the inside or out, this is a extremely difficult fight for Manny. Roach knows the task is monumental. But it is monumental because Manny is not a discipline fighter. The truth is the truth. FMJ is not perfect fighter, but Roach believes they have to fight the perfect fight to win. Probably won't happen.
