On another note fighters and trainers dont usually acknowledge needing to fight the "perfect" fight to win, when they do it's usually an admission that they are not as good as there opponent. Take that as you will.
I don't see how that makes any sense.

With that type of plan, if they have some success, FMJ will just use his high guard defense while walking towards Manny. He did the same with Judah and Mitchell. Take away the southpaw's counter ability, awkwardness, and speed. Close the distance. I assume that will be apart of FMJ's game plan anyway. Now, some will say you cannot compare Manny with Judah and Mitchell. But the fact is Judah and Mitchell were seasoned boxer/counter punchers. Manny is not a counter puncher and is not a inside fighter. Whether this fight takes place on the inside or out, this is a extremely difficult fight for Manny. Roach knows the task is monumental. But it is monumental because Manny is not a discipline fighter. The truth is the truth. FMJ is not perfect fighter, but Roach believes they have to fight the perfect fight to win. Probably won't happen.

Manny is a good counter puncher. He counters effectively in every fight. You need to watch closer. He's so fast that it goes over the average fans head. And if he wasn't a disciplined fighter, then how did he become the only 8 division champion in boxing history? Does he blow up in weight in between fights? Does he take his craft seriously? Is he easy to hit? How is h not a disciplined fighter?

For some reason, a lot of people seem to either forget or ignore that Pacquiao is also a good counter puncher and very quick with it too.

When you say you have to fight the perfect fight to win, you have admitted that you have flaws that can result in a loss, while also confirming that your opponents does not have to fight the perfect fight to defeat you.

I don't think that's what he meant. I think what Roach really is saying is that they have to make sure to use every advantage they have over Floyd and use them wisely to win the fight (hence why he mentioned Manny being a southpaw). That has nothing to do with him doubting Manny. It's something every fighter must do.

OR it could JUST BE FLOYD'S FAULT MANNY LOSES the fight.

What do you think Roach is talking about? Why does Roach state they need to be perfect? He is talking about Manny's lack of discipline in past game plans. You need to watch closer. Whether you want to credit FMJ or not. Roach knows FMJ is a different class and also knows that those mistakes that were made against Marquez - will kill him against FMJ. Marquez needed a KO to beat Manny, FMJ does not. Manny is the underdog for a reason. Stop trying to blow smoke. Manny is not discipline fighter - Period.

Pacman' speed and his hard punches can hit Floyd jr.,

Both are human, they are prone to commit mistakes inside the ring, the one that gets hit hard will hit the canvass!

Floyd jr., can hit Pacman accurately, but, watch and see what happens when Pacman counters with his own killer punches in fast and furious style!
