This would've happened last year if Duva would've backed up Haymon putting the screws to HBO. They weren't even that far off money wise. However I do understand Duva needed to get Kovalev off NBCSports and on to HBO. So not making any waves with HBO was/is the safe play. However people that team up with Haymon usually land on their feet.

Yeah, I'm sure that's what he meant. Hymen is going to feed him overmatched opposition and promote him as the most fierce LHW in the world, the lineal champ who is the best LHW of the last 30 years.

Casual fans know nothing of Kovalev so they will likely believe the bill of goods that they are being sold. As long as he continues to win against made to order opposition, a Kovalev fight will never happen.

Kudos to the Canadians who cheered there follow countryman Pascal on from beginning to end and booed Kovalev from beginning to end . Not so much I can say for most of these sad ass "Americans" who'd rather cheer for Russians and other foreigners and boo there fellow black Americans . If you knew ANYTHING about your own history you'd know that these Slavic Eastern Europeans have never accepted you Western Anglo-Saxon Europeans as equals , brothers , cousins or anything else for that matter .
