A lot of people are saying 50/50, some are thinking easy KO, but I think it is about 60-70% Kovalev. Reasons being, he has faced better comp., has the better chin, he will travel anywhere to fight anyone (went to UK to get belt, Canada wherever). Stevenson had problems with Fonfara (tough fighter, but nowhere near Kov). Unless Stevenson lands a big shot before Kov puts him to sleep, it should go to Kov.
Best fight to make in the division right now, so make it, if it is good or close rematch, but watching all of the mis matches in boxing gets old at times.

There's literally no comparison there. It's like saying "Everyone thought Broner would kill Maidana" when talking about Mayweather/Maidana.

The comparison is identical.

* the Kovalev (Matthyse) bandwagon was created
* everybody jumped on
* any prospective opponent was immediately rendered "easy work"

BTW, not everybody thought that Broner would kill Maidana.

There is literally no comparison with the example you gave.
