I've been watching every fight Pac has had since the first Morales fight. It's funny, you kind of......appreciate a fighter more when you go back and go through their catalog. Manny is a juggernaut, it will take all of Floyd's skill to keep Manny off him, throwing combinations and pushing the action. Should be a great night of boxing.

Man Morales did three things at such a high level it was truly masterful to watch.
1.His jab controlled Manny EVERY time he jumped in, it controlled the distance between them and it help set up his other shots
2.His right hand lead would tag Manny multiple times especially whenever Manny would get in his 4-5 punch combos in Morales would jump right back with a right hand lead and some punches of his own.
3.His chin. He took some quality shots and immediately came back with his own fire taking control of the fight every time.
That fight and the second (the first 5 rounds of the second fight were a repeat of the first fight) show me Floyd has all the tools to make Pac look like a moron come May 2nd.

I predict, and I would put my head in a gallow as I watch the fight, I am not joking, I am serious... that Pacquiao drops floyd twice and wins a UD. If THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN, DROP the surface below me and watch me hang from the gallow dead.

They act like Mayweather just shells up without firing back.Last edited by joseph5620; 03-15-2015, 08:15 PM.

This is really a battle of who has the better weapon.
Floyds lead right hand and leaping left hook or Pacs lead left and short counter right hook.
The only way to get in on a guy like Floyd is with the left straight, Pac has no jab, but one thing he has is a similar style to Judah in the 4 rounds Judah gave Floyd a hard time to adjust until Zab as usual gassed, Zab is a mental midget he gives up after a few rounds if he cant bully you he gives up so Floyd knew this and started countering him when he lulled his attack. Floyd has a weakness and its left jabs and lefft straights, he seems to always get hit by them because he doesn't really use head movement he is used to pulling his head back, rolling under or using the shoulder to deflect it but if you can reach him you can hit him on the nose, what I noticed is whenever Cotto bounced on his toes and gave Pacquiao style misdirection footwork Cotto popped Floyd at will with a jab, Floyd seemed to be baffled like he couldn't time his rhythm. When cotto throw winging hooks Floyd rolled them easy, but it was the straight punches that floyd has trouble with. Pacman throws nothing but straight blast combos in succession and goes to your side.
Zab thows the flicking right jab followed by a left straight missle very similar to Pac. only thing about Zab is his footwork is nothing like Pac, Pac can throwing while gliding on his toes, and bounces everywhere, this older version of Pac will give you that in spurts but the prime Pac was a beast when it came to the in and out side to side ambush attack. Now he fights more flat footed, which will make it easier for Floyd if Pac plods forward.
Floyd goes into double guard. Pac key is the lead left to use it as a jab like how he fought Oscar, Floyds only way to avoid the lead left straight is to throw 3 punch combos with aggression like Marquez, but Floyd is not that type of fighter, Floyd likes for you to throw and he likes to counter off after you throw.
He doesnt go toe to toe and everytime he did he get the worst of it. like in the last round of the oscar fight Oscar got him good with a flurry when Floyd at the final 5 seconds tried to exchange with him.
The reason I have Floyd winning comes down to this, Pac is war torn, his legs are shot, he has no more chin, he has no power and his stamina has worsened he takes too much time off. When he fought Clottey if he fought Floyd he would have a chance to win at workrate because Pac never tired in that fight he threw so many shots.
But Pac today has nothing left he is a shell or a has been as Floyd put it. Floyd will walk back and shoot off the lead right hand all night, or tie up.
I can see Floyd winning by KO, but I am not confident in Pacman anymore, I lost all confidence in him, he has to prove to me he can deliver what he says he will on MAy 2.
He claims his kids wanted him to fight Floyd for 4 years, well if he is true that means Pac is fighting for honor and pride, if he really fights hard he has a shot, but he will have to give Floyd hell, with death by a thousand left hands and side to side movement.
I pick Floyd and favor because Floyds right hand lead will land on Pacman more than Pacs lead left will, Pac cannot avoid a right hand to save his life.
