Maybe , I think Kov is too big for him and that size and power punching will get to Cal eventually , but if there is any BS in Kov when he is really being outworked then Cal could pull it off , but if Kov is the real deal he is too big for Calzaghe and it could go as you say , right now we dont know the depth of Kov or GGG for that matter , Cal was proven against a much higher class of fighter than what Kov has faced so far , but size is the thing for me here .

I would pick Frankenstein...Calz been dropped by lesser punchers....Frankenstein takes Calz down that same dark alley he took my main man BHop down...but then again, Calz might get fresh and open up like Pascal did and get put in a early grave...depends on how smart Calz play once he feel Franky's power!!...Frankenstein ALL DAY in this match up!!

not really. their resumes are very close as of right now. who are the higher class of fighters that calz faced? lacy? old eubank? those guys aren't even on the level of campillo who should have been unified champ when kovalev ko'd him. calzaghe had a lot of easy fights but that doesn't mean he faced a higher class. kovalev is probably already ahead of calzaghe in terms of greatness based on calzaghe's dubious win over hopkins not counting for much but if kovalev beats stevenson he will leave him in the dust for sure.

To all his assets, Kovalev is a big LHW. Calzaghe and Kessler are SMW. I don't think that they were hit with comparable power. Both of them will be soften up considerably, even if not KOd right away.

I suspect that Calzaghe would've slapped him to death.

              Calzaghe UD.

Instead of speaking about ol' Kal, you better ask your boy Ward to fight the Russian killa'...

                  Campillo?

The guy didn't even train for the Kovalev fight and was jet-lagged. You **** on Calzaghe opponents to the utmost degree but you rate guys like Campillo and Willie Munson

I'll go with Kovalev by UD or late KO.

I think he just smothers Kov with his punches and doesn't let him get off.

This would be Calzaghe versus Lacy all over again
Sure! You don't even believe this crap otherwise you wouldn't use an alt. GTFO!!! Easy KO for Kovalev.
