Its clear that Adonis knocks him out cold with a jab .
Kovalev's "Suspect Chin"

It's based on evidence, you can see him get buzzed by shots, he was down against Caparello, reportedly down against Boone and of course this video is floating about of him being KO'd with headgear on:
"Suspect" is the perfect description.
Pascal and Hopkins have a 50% KO ratio, they can both punch but they're not indicative of what would happen against a Stevenson or Beterbiev for example.Comment

Adonis gets sparked.
Kovalev doesn't have a granite chin but it's not China either. It's fine. He can take some shots but he's got to fight smart, too. These are big guys for fúck's sake.Comment

He earned Froch's respect so is that evidence he has a suspect chin?
He dropped Hopkins twice does he have a suspect chin?
He hurt and dropped them, he did neither to Kovalev.
How is that evidence that Kovalev has a suspect chin?Comment

But plenty of guys have been stopped in the AM's who aren't chinny.
Boone dropped him, but Boone can crack aswell.
Boone almost took Andre Wards head off and I don't see people saying he has a suspect chin.
I just don't see what it's based off.Comment

If anything he proved his chin is solid lay night. Ill never understand theses chin talks with him.Comment

Essentially pushing over an off balanced old man.
I saw Kovalev much more effected by Pascal and change the way he operated as a result of the damage Pascal was dealing out 1 punch at a time.
When looking at flaws for boxers (and I know you know this), you don't look for obvious things you look for the problems people gloss over for the reasons you are making.Comment

More of a a factor of a suspect chin is a bad polker face... I think some boxers hide being hurt better than others. Kovalev isn't the best at hiding being hurt, but I think his chin is definitely upto parr. . . He'd be on his back a lot more than he is if it was suspect.Comment
