Pascal landed hard and flush many times and didn't manage to drop or badly hurt him. If he had a bad chin he would have been dropped, hurt, or ko'd from some of those shots, he pasts the test for me.

I didn't see evidence of a suspect chin. Kovalev held Pascal's flush shots pretty well and recovered quickly enough. Only thing that seems to visably trouble him is a sustained body attack. Good luck to anyone trying that AND avoiding his bombs!

His chin is decent.....in no way glass. Took a few flush shots tonight and was all good. The caparello kd was clearly the foot thing that made him unbalanced.

Pascal isn't a huge puncher, but he's got some pop.

Kovalev took them well enough and got back to his business pretty quickly. Not a great chin or bad chin, just a typical chin.

Perhaps that's why he apparently didn't like sparring Golovkin.

Pascall does only have a 50% ko ratio.....not exactly a big puncher imo.
In fact i'd probably pick adonis over kovalev at this stage. He should handle bika with ease then hopefully we get the fight we want within the division.

And this is supposedly a "Memo" Pascal.

Kendall Holt had less than a 50% ko rate and he hit like a train, Rubio up at MW has like 50 kos in his career but its deceiving because he isn't a big puncher. The numbers don't tell the story, watching the story is a better indicator. You can see just by watching that Pascal is strong and does hit hard.

I think Pascal is one of those guys whose punches look and sound bigger than they are though, similar to Canelo.

Very solid power, but not the massive power that the look and sound would suggest.

Could be the angle and the way he puts his body into shots, not a one punch ko guy but a strong man no doubt.

It's based on evidence, you can see him get buzzed by shots, he was down against Caparello, reportedly down against Boone and of course this video is floating about of him being KO'd with headgear on:

                      "Suspect" is the perfect description.

Pascal and Hopkins have a 50% KO ratio, they can both punch but they're not indicative of what would happen against a Stevenson or Beterbiev for example.
