Stevenson is one of the last afro hype trains ready to be derailed. Hes not going anywhere near Kovalev. Ward isn't going to touch him either. Hes too busy calling out a guy 2 weight classed down. Quillin and Wilder are trying to stave off derailment as long as possible.

Kudos to the Canadians who cheered there follow countryman Pascal on from beginning to end and booed Kovalev from beginning to end . Stevenson doesn't have Pascal's chin. But Pascal does not have Stevensons power. Kovalev is good no doubt but Adonis and Sergey letting bombs fly at each other is a 50/50 fight. With probably multiple knockdowns. Kovalev is probably more technically sound than Adonis but he can be hit. And Pascal gotta stop the Roy impression.

I would probably even favor Ward straight up, but with 2 fights at 175 to acclimatise, I definitely got him as favorite against Kovalev.

Ward is a much better fighter than Jean Pascal..... he is not an old man..... and he is at least 1-2 levels above Kovalev in terms of skills/experience.

You all just forgot how good Ward is because he has not been active, and because the bandwagon that you have all jumped on is much more fun right now.
