Always remember that it takes one to know one , therefore if ur accusing me of racial bias it's because u possess a lot of it and therefore u become super paranoid of everyone else being one . But luckily we don't have to guess that ur a racist because ur Manny/Flyod caption leaves no guess work ! Always the racist ones quick to accuse others of it , lol . Having said that , let me say this ; Your an idiot , and unfortunately for u that's not restricted to any one race ! Your to be pitied not scornedComment

Umm..... not sure if you're serious ?
The abraham fight was one-sided, the Bika fight was a competitive blow-out..... both bad examples because neither are similar to Kovalev.
Listen, Ward is a pure boxer, so he has the very best style to beat everyone, except a certain style of pressure fighter.
Firepower? Ward has plenty enough power to keep Kovalev, and everyone else, honest. Nobody has ever walked through his punches, and nobody ever will.
Nah.
I dont even know why you said that.
1) Ward won an Olympic Gold Medal at lightheavy
2) Wards style means that the size of opponent is less of an issue, same as Mayweather. They both have the style to compete against bigger opponents, but I dont think Kovalev is that much bigger than Ward, if at all. They are likely about the same size.
3) Ward will not fight Kovalev first up, hes too smart. Which is why he has not considered moving up to 175 yet, even though he has pretty much cleaned out 168.
The reason why is this..... because weight-hopping is absurd, unnecessary, very hard on the body/career. Moving up, then back down, is a killer...... so his move to 175 was always going to be permanent, and it was always going to be well-managed.
Ward will not move up until he is ready to move up PERMANENTLY..... AND, he will take 2 fights at least to allow his body to adjust to the weight..... just like well-managed fighters have always done.
There was never a chance that Ward would weight-hop, just to keep fans happy, his career since the Super-6 has been too well-managed for that.
What Mayweather is doing, by campaigning at welter, and yet jumping up to 154 to fight JMW's, is not normal. Ward is too smart for that.Comment

Laughable nuthugger post. Ward is too small to compete with Kovalev and he has zero power to keep him off. Kovalev would knock Ward's head off which is why Ward says things like "guys, I'm not a LHW" when asked about Kovalev.Umm..... not sure if you're serious ?

So, I'm a nuthugger, and yet Kovalev would simply "knock Ward's head off"?
I'm surprised that you didn't use the word " easy ", like other casual fans do when describing boxing.
You say that Ward is too small, and that he doesn't have power at LHW.....
Listen, stop being so fixated with power willya, it really does single-out casual fans. You guys are fixated with speed/power, and you think that is all there is to the sport of boxing..... ridiculous really !
Defence/footwork negates power, and timing negates speed..... Ward is a master of both.
Pascal says that Froch hits harder than Kovalev.....
..... so, tell me how effective you think Frochs power was against Ward ?
We will agree to disagree.Comment

Stevenson is one of the last afro hype trains ready to be derailed. Hes not going anywhere near Kovalev. Ward isn't going to touch him either. Hes too busy calling out a guy 2 weight classed down. Quillin and Wilder are trying to stave off derailment as long as possible.Comment

OK, so then lets disbelieve Pascal, simply because you say so.
Regardless, how effective was Frochs power against Ward ?
I will answer for you.....

I agree with you, Ward is not currently a LHW. But, wasnt the topic of conversation, how successful he would be should he move up?
If Ward moved up to 175, he would be a LHW, no question.Comment
