Why are people talking about a rematch? This was a one-sided fight save one round where Pascal won, and 1-2 other rounds where he had like maybe 30 seconds where he got off good combinations.

Bad stoppage? He wobbled from one corner to the other, then took about 3 hard, unanswered blows at the ropes. Recipe for a sweet stoppage to me.

If Pascal isn't proven a warrior after tonight, it will never happen. Very impressed with his comeback after that near KO round. Questionable stoppage, I'm on the fence with it. But a rematch has to happen. He!!uva fight. Kov had his toughest pro fight yet, but he destroys Stevenson IMO.

I'm with you on this one - stoppage looked a bit early. However it was clear that Pascal would not make it out of that round and would be very seriously hurt. He has to thank the ref - now he's got a chance for a rematch and another big payday. If ref would let it continue for another minute Pascal would get serious health damage and no rematch.

Watching a guy's brain beaten to pulp is not that much fun. Folks get off in hoping the brain dead guy would suddenly land a lucky hail Mary. Pascal was absolutely and totally outclassed. Aside from the thorough beat down.

yea,,,im not getting the rematch talk either. judging by how the fight went it seems pretty clear that a rematch would be more of the same. totally pointless

I wholeheartedly agree ! We must be living in the new Roman Empire for people think that wasn't a proper stoppage . The Gladiator days r over people , and please don't attempt to resurrect them . At the time of the stoppage Pascal had took 3 up close clean shots to the head without moving , countering or clinching . That's a recipe for disaster when u f..king wit Juicy J

Pascal's an idiot for allowing his 11 year old daughter to attend his fight. It can't be a good thing for a kid to watch their dad take a beating,

Probably already been said, but I wished Pascal would have used his jab more. Also more shots to the body.

When he did either, Kovalev would fall for an unsuspecting shot, or seem slightly confused. Kovalev eventually pretty much ran through him.

I hated the awkward stare moments when nothing would happen.

I hate it when I see every single family member at a fight that could be brutal like when you see a baby next to a 5 year old next to a 8 year old next to a 10 year old all next to their mother watching their father/husband take big punches. Boxing is not a Disney whole family event! That sht is not rated PG, it is rated R for scenes of violence and not that Hollywood stuff, real violence!
