Would love to see Berto vs Broner before one or both of them retires.

Lol who are these Haymon supporters? Most of the big names are with Haymon I can't imagine what it would be like if I had to only "like" the guys that aren't signed to him. Just because someone is a fan of a guy who happens to be managed by Haymon it makes you a "Haymon supporter"... You people are ridiculous.

These are the same people who "support" Arum a guy who has a much more extensive history of being one of the most corrupt and slimy individuals to walk this earth let alone be involved in boxing, which pretty much makes you a slime ball by definition, making two men get in a ring and beat the piss out of each other while you sit back and collect the money.

Couldn't protect himself? Did we watch the same fight,or were you still watching the Porter fight? Lopez was on his way back up,and the ref literally threw himself on his back,to stop Lopez from getting up. If it was a legit stopage,I'd give berto full credit, but it wasn't.

it was the right thing to do. lopez lives to fight another day. and if it were the other fighter around. i'd be saying the samething. the possible brain damage is no joke.

In what world do you stop a guy that goes does a second time on a knee, because thats basically what it was.

Its not uncommon at all to see a guy go down again like that again and get up and be fine.

The 2nd punch wasn't devastating, he wasn't taking a beating, so you can't say oh it was just time to save him from himself.

The 1st knockdown wasn't particularly devastating where he struggled to get up. He was aware of what what happening immediately, and it appeared to just be an equilibrium shot, which effects your balance more than actually hurting you. Soo, its not surprising that he went down again.

There is no way that stoppage was justified. It was clearly Caiz being paid to protect Berto, and prevent him from taking any damage. From the looks of how fast he jumped in, Caiz would have jumped in to stop it even if Lopez didn't go down from the punch.

Actually watching it, Caiz was running in waiving his hands before Lopez hands even touched the canvas.

                      Really disgusting.
