ONTARIO, CALIF. - The first Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) card on Spike TV delivered on it's promise to bring fight fans a great night of boxing match-ups. The night's main event featured Andre "The Beast" Berto (30-3, 23 KOs), who recorded an impressive stoppage of Josesito "Riverside Rocky" Lopez (33-7, 19 KOs) in front of a very lively crowd at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Lopez started fast, but Berto started to rally in the fifth and then scored two hard knockdowns in the sixth round to force the technical knockout when the referee stepped in to wave things off. Where are the pictures of Lopez smacking the crap out of berto? Or since he's not haymons favorite, they make it seem like he didn't land anything, and he wasn't winning on all 3 cards before the questionable stoppage.

It tells the tale. Sure he secured the win with his KO but Berto had a sub-par performance against a fighter who really isn't anything special. Berto was getting outboxed and outworked and although the stoppage could be questioned, he did take the W regardless. Oh well, Berto is done against any fighter above Lopez's skill level at this point.

Thank you. Berto gets outskilled by a c level fighter,is behind all three cards, and gets a helping hand from the ref, against a fighter who gets knocked down, but almost always gets back up no problem, but all the haymon supporters can come up with is "he still got the win doe".

Lopez punched himself out. Got over excited with it being so easy and plain gassed. Or maybe knocked himself out from the over excitement! The brain functions funny when overly excited.
