True. Floyd vs Manny might just be awkward as hell to watch. I doubt it will have that "electrifying" atmosphere most fights with diehard boxing fans in the audience tend to possess.

The kid should have never backed out of his demand to Oscar to fight on May 2nd. He thinks he's a PPV blockbuster and in line to take over boxing right? If you feel your the man why back down, I'd rather he kept the date and get slapped with reality that if floyd was holding a PPV sparring session Canelo still wouldn't get more numbers then Floyd. Now him and cokehead Oscar are trying to save face by saying if they didn't say they were going to fight on that day Floyd and Pacroid wouldn't be happening. Truth of the matter is they were telling everyone early last year about fighting on May 2nd before negotiations even started. Now look at his dumb redhead zza, they know people aren't going to have much money left after Floyd embarrass Pacroid so they
are selling tickets like buy one get 24 free. And these are ringside seats. Hell I've heard the tickets are so cheap on fight night Oscar will have to buy up most of the remaining ones just to break even.

I don't think so. Floyd and pacs tix are always expensive even tho these cost more they will have a good crown still that react to every punch landed

So what your saying is he in fact needs Mayweather aftermath to boost his popularity after trying to take the May date? Mann Canelo fans and there double standards tsk tsk.

Canelo fighting with the Pac/May replay helps both Canelo and HBO.

HBO because Canelo gives fans with both HBO/SHO a reason to watch the HBO replay.

Canelo because it gives him a bigger audience.

But it's hilarious that people are harping on the Kirkland fight like it's the only opportunity he's going to have to make money.

              He's 24.

It's the first fight of an HBO deal.

He'll probably have a PPV fight in September, when Pac/May is in the rear view mirror (and are probably taking the rest of the year off).

Could not have been a worse date. The replay should garner more attention. The May 2nd replay, that is.

IDK this fight is something else. I seriously doubt most of the fans that were able to afford previous Pac/May fights respectively would even have a remote shot at landing some tickets. Their availability will be scarce and we all know the big wigs won't be chanting along like some drunk football fans

Hope I'm completely wrong and the fans make it into something special. I'd rather eat crow than sit through a fight of this magnitude with the sound of crickets and pins dropping being heard throughout the rounds.

Where exactly did you get all that from? All I said that the fact that the replay will be playing before his fight won't hurt him one bit. If that translates to all the BS you formulated in that thick skull of yours then... yes, YES I DID.

I thought this too, what if the replay is not on HBO?

Im sure it will be marketed during the PPV. Is it a PPV? Hopefully not, if not tons will tune in.
