Casual fans are the only ones thinkin about May 2
Real fans look beyond that date, we are looking at tonight, march 28,4/4,4/11,and one of my favorite dates 4/18 mathysse vs provodnikov...plus dont forget that there will probably be about 30-40,0000 people in attendance on may 9th, plus it will be great for the casual who is catching the replay of may 2nd to get a chance and see an action packed fight with canelo vs kirkland

Im still waiting to see if kirkland gets paid his step aside fee... oh wait they already sold thousands of tickets. They know that Roach can't train pacquiao & cotto at the same time.

this fight is for free on hbo as its been said numberous times. still, its on mothers day weekend. some people that would have come from out of town to attend the fight will take a pass because of that. i was going to fly into texas that weekend until i realized mothers day was sunday actually. the whole point of having it on a Mexican holiday means it had to be May 2nd. May 9th completely misses out on that. It flat out isn't the right date. The event will still be a success, and if your local and your family is into boxing then going to this only adds to a great weekend. If you have HBO, you will tune into this fight if your a boxing fan.

I thought I read that the winner of MayPac will get the rights to the replay on their network. Is there any truth to that or do both HBO and SHO get to replay it regardless of who the winner is?
