How thick is the skull of Cotto fans that they cannot understand that WARD does NOT hold a middleweight title while Cotto does? There is no reason at all for GGG to move up to fight Ward. Ward offers nothing, he is not even close to a PPV attraction. If Ward was to drop down and win a middleweight title, I am sure that GGG would love to fight him for it. Cotto doesn't want to fight a bigger man? Well guess what? EVERYONE in the middleweight division is a BIGGER MAN than Cotto. So what is his alternative? That's right, he should VACATE THE TITLE that he does not have the balls to defend.

THAT is what Golovkin is trying to achieve, something that has only happened ONCE in boxing history, by Bernard Hopkins, who lost his titles to Jermaine Taylor who went on to break up the set. There has not been a unified champion before or since that time.

That is quite a goal to work towards and any REAL BOXING FAN would give their full support to a fighter who is fighting to make history instead of holding out for the most money he could make. I happen to think it is refreshing to see and worthy of my support.

Cotto is so interested in money and being a promoter that maybe it would be best for him to simply retire from the sport seeing as he has lost the fire to be the best fighter in the world and is just looking for a payday.

Dude, most of the time there's a couple beltholders in the division that aren't even top 5. Jermain Taylor is a prime example. This guy has absolutely no business being in a boxing ring. The guy is a tragedy waiting to happened. And if not for his latest arrest, he'd still hold some ridiculous belt.
