I'll cut him some slack. His trainer said for six months he wasn't able to do much idk maybe Injury and he didn't have a full camp. But he still needs to stop going to the buffet every day

I believe it was elbow surgery. It was no secret he get up to 300 in between fights in the past but with his injury & inactivity 262 was lighter then I would expect him to be. If he is healthy & they keep him active i'm sure he will be around 240-250. As I said earlier that is his ideal weight in my opinion. The smaller he is the more likely will be on his back when hit by shots like he was against harper.

aerrelo needs to get back in the gym...

He looked horrible vs a club fighter last night, way too difficult of a time, for fighting a 12-3 club fighter...

should have been ended early, but chris didn't have the gas tank to keep up the pace in res 2,3

Arreola is basically becoming david tua circa 2003...

Had big chances in big fights, is a known commodity, but now will be the slow, painful slide into oblivion

Fighters coming to fights totally out of shape like this is really bad for boxing, casual fans and fans watching for the first time care more about the looks than the performance, you can't look like a fat truck driver and expect people to pay to watch you fight, there have to be weight limits on heavyweights as well. I think heavy weights should be divided into 2 divisions, from 200 to 225 should be the heavyweight division and from 225 to 250 should be the super heavyweight division. Nobody should be allowed to step in a boxing ring weighing more than 250 lbs. Arreola weighed in at 262 and he's only 6'3. If you only ran 4-5 miles everday for 8 weeks before the fight even without sparring or doing any kind of work out you should come to the fight in a better shape than this!

He needs a rematch, the fight was fun to watch at times, if he can't get into good shape and stop Harper in the rematch, he should hang them up before he gets hurt. Both fighters landed some bombs and showed a lot of heart.
Arreola always comes to fight, so I will watch, win or lose.
