Really? You would bring that up when they never entered into a real negotiation knowing full well that Manny/Top Rank refused to fight Sergio Martinez for his belt but instead they had him stripped. Then made up a entirely different belt and had him fight the legendary Antonio Margarito for it. Pure duck, no way around it.

This guy is unbelievable......... First Marquez in 2009 had only fought once above 130 yet Mayweather fought him at a catchweight of 144 and still came in heavy at 146 not making weight how unprofessional. Yesterday I was watching a interview and he said Manny fought Oscar at a catch-weight... Not true, Oscar came down from 154 to 147 (1 division) Manny moved up from 135 to 147 (2 divisions) why because nobody would have brought the fight if Manny would have jumped from 135 to 154 in one fight... Oscar called the shots and the weight... However Floyd conveniently didn't mention he fought Canelo at a catch-weight AFTER talking about Manny fight Cotto at a catchweight. No to mention he had fought Oscar and Cotto at 154 so why not Canelo??? This dude is a fraud and a phony wife beater and in less than 50 days the sham is up... What a clown, no wonder Shantel aborted his twins and ran off with Nelly, May has as about as much class in his personal life as he does in his professional life...

Let us get things straight....this is not coming from a Mayweather fan, though I believe FMJ will win.

The victory of FMJ over JMM was greater than any of the victories of Pacquiao over JMM. Yes, FMJ came in overweight, but JMM accepted that reality in lieu of a decent monetary gift. That is their call....and the result would not have changed anyway had FMJ lost 2 more lbs.

Maidana was not close to winning any of the 2 fights he had with FMJ. It is just the illusion of FMJ haters that they thought it was close. Look at the compubox and scorecards. None of the judges scored a win for Maidana.
