Manny had nearly every conceivable advantage over Marquez. Manny is 5 years younger, much faster, more explosive, and more powerful than Marquez and still struggled to defeat Marquez clearly. Manny and Juan are also similar in size and dimensions as well.
Manny is not going to have nearly as many advantages over Floyd as he did over Juan. He's only a little faster, slightly younger, and slightly more explosive. But he's also smaller in terms of height and reach. The fact that Floyd shells up or moves his head while JMM opens up to exchange is the reason why Floyd will be trickier to deal with than JMM ever was.
Not only will Manny have to worry about the right hand counter like he did with JMM, he's also going to have to deal with somebody who is taller, more elusive, with quicker hands and quicker feet than JMM.
i explained to you why you can't compare marquez vs floyd to marquez vs pacquiao
do you want me to type a wall of text to compare pacquiao vs floyds style?
it will take awhile, not really in the mood
and i mean besides marquez' career consisting of feeding on aggressive southpaw asians, and whenever he fights pacquiao he's fighting completely to his strengths, i can't believe you think floyd's habit of turning into a sitting duck will help him vs pacquiao, you must have no clue as to why people can't stand with pacquiao
p.s go do some study on mayweather vs corley, mitchell and judah, hell even guerrero, although he doesn't do sht, you should be able to spot floyd's big opening against the left hand, think pacquiao vs barrera I, and pacquiao vs marquez I, this is what happens when you back straight up vs pacquiao
I agree that styles make fights but what is interesting is that you Manny fans don't really use that logic when it comes to Floyd v. Manny. You use the styles make fights rule when it comes to Floyd v Marquez or Manny v. Marquez or Manny versus anyone else but not when it comes to Floyd against Manny.
If you guys admit that the reason Manny struggled against Marquez is because Marquez is a counter puncher and the reason why Manny dominated other opponents is because they were aggressive. What makes you think Manny can beat a bigger, faster, counter puncher in Mayweather?
If Floyd's size, speed, and style made for a terrible matchup for Marquez what makes you think it won't be a terrible matchup for Manny, Someone who is known to struggle with counter punching?
Let me ask you this; what kind of opponent does Floyd struggle with?
Well Pac's fights with JMM were all entertaining, people wanted to see more. Floyd's shutout of a Juan who jumped 2 weight classes to face him, not so much. Yes I know Floyd is just smack talking to sell this fight. He's probably going to have to do a ton more since it's so many years past when it should've happened.
Great video! I love it! But when Manny trash talks, it's good for the sport. He's respectful with it. Floyd crosses the line even more than Ali did. Trash talking is fine when done right. Floyd honestly believes he is better than Manny because Manny has a few losses. Because he shut out a bloated and too little super lightweight. BIG DEAL!
The weight disparity in that pathetic catch-weight fight was ridiculous, JMM never fought above 135 lbs and Floyd himself came in overweight. Everyone knows that fight was fraudulent.
That Floyd and his lackeys are quite the comedians, I'll give them that.
