JMM was a terrible example for Floyd to use. I guess he had to since it was the only like opponent that he beat more convincingly than Pac.

If you guys admit that the reason Manny struggled against Marquez is because Marquez is a counter puncher and the reason why Manny dominated other opponents is because they were aggressive. What makes you think Manny can beat a bigger, faster, counter puncher in Mayweather?
If Floyd's size, speed, and style made for a terrible matchup for Marquez what makes you think it won't be a terrible matchup for Manny, Someone who is known to struggle with counter punching?

JMM walked thru hell and back to land those punches he did on Pac. He took risks that Floyd will never take. You cant beat Pac being a passive counterpuncher. You have to bring it to him while he's bringing it to you. The question is, will Floyd bring it or will he play it safe?

Don't try to talk logic with these rabid Pacquiao fans, man. It's not worth the headaches.

Floyd's win over Marquez was a cheap win. He cheated him on the scales AFTER he made him climb up 2 weight classes to face him.
Do you think a guy like Cotto or Maidana who gave tough fights would be able to beat Floyd if Floyd gave them 4 attempts to do so?
manny winning that fight wasn't a unanimous opinion among boxing writers and boxers who scored the fight. just look at these scores

manny never gave a rematch, he was forced to by public demand.. just like when floyd fought castillo, some say he lost, some say he won , the public made them fight again. same thing with maidana.
i have marquez winning the pacquiao series 3-1 only loss i gave him was fight one because three knockdowns in one round was just too deep a hole to climb out of.Last edited by elishua F; 03-12-2015, 02:31 PM.

everyone knows floyd is bigger than pacquiao, floyds fans will tell you that pacquiao will have a hard time dealing with floyds length, but again, unlike marquez vs floyd, pacquiao will have his advantages vs floyd
